OK CLUB
OK Club is a six-piece indie band based in Metro Manila.
Pulling from the sounds of guitar pop, jazz, garage rock, dreampop, modern OPM, and even unconventional anime OST’s, the club members’ influences almost have nothing in common. But that’s okay, they’re pretty okay.
Formed in early 2019, OK Club consists of Darl Alba on vocals, Kin Ivan Umpad on vocals/guitar/keys,
Kevin Castro on guitar/vocals, Luis Macabulos on bass, and Kaya Katigbak on drums.
Their first single Pilot was released in April of 2019. After a year, OK Club released their singles Oh Well and Cherry Soda in March of 2020. With Oh Well’s grit and emotional lyrics, and Cherry Soda’s carefree vibe, both reflect the band’s diverse musicality and vibrant sound.
The band is currently working towards releasing an EP, and figuring out what else they can do together.

Oriang
Oriang in its current iteration is hopefully the start of a collective or a collective-adjacent entity of women, queer folks, and allies who are artist-activists and whose shared goal is to build a library of resistance or a library of heroes / human rights defenders for young people who are now entering into their own [ideas of] heroism. This was conceived as part of Innovation for Change — East Asia’s open call for storytellers to participate in Libraries of Resistance, a project which “aims to pilot a platform where crowdsourced stories of struggle, hope and inclusion from East Asia civil society can be amplified and transformed into a living community library. The goal is to foster cross-country, intergenerational learning and solidarity between civil society actors across different advocacies."
